Compassionate Underage Drinking Legal Defense

If you are caught drinking and you have not attained the age of 21 — do not fear. All hope is not lost.

If this is your first offense — excluding traffic citations, then know that N.C.G.S. 18B-302 (b)(1); 18B-302(b)(2); and 18B-302(b)(3) can, in many instances, be expunged from your criminal record, provided that you meet the criteria to enter into and successfully complete a deferred prosecution program.

As defined by Black's Law Dictionary*, an "expungement of record" is the removal of a conviction (esp. for a first offense) from a person's criminal record.
